xiros® ball transfer unit with plate spring, for higher shock loads
Until now, the design concepts of xiros® ball transfer units have consisted of fabricated housings with embedded ball cups or a sliding insert that were extremely wear-resistant and could absorb high impact loads. Now there is a new addition to the range: Ball transfer units with integrated plate springs. Plate springs have the advantage that high forces are achieved with small spring deflections. They have a good vibration damping properties, so shock loads can be absorbed, and uniform load distribution can be ensured even when transporting goods with an uneven running surface. If the applied load exceeds the springs preload, the plastic ball transfer unit deflects into the outer housing and continues to function up to the parts maximum load.
Tech up:
- Resilient absorption of shock loads
- Even load distribution when transporting goods with uneven running surfaces
Cost down:
- No more downtime costs due to avoidance of impact damage
- Gentle transport of goods

Sustainability:
- Environmentally friendly, as no additional lubricants are required
