Moulding machines process particle foams such as EPS, EPP and EPE: The plain bearing is used at the suspension of the condensate hose, which leads vapour, air and condensate downwards. To secure this process from the moving side of the machine, a fixed hose without rotating joints is used. Products from igus® allowed a simple, cheap and low-maintenance solution for the suspension of the condensate hose and has already proved itself in the production. Furthermore, the plain bearing allows a rotary motion of the suspension point.
