A booster pump for the heat accumulator of an electric spa toilet – iglidur® X plain bearings are installed, to which the requirements of the parts: Resistance against water at a temperature of 45°C, no chemical reaction, and creation of high water pressure via gear pump.
 
The parts used so far repeatedly caused problems such as noise, leakage and a much too high power consumption. An optimal solution could be found with an altered fixture. iglidur® XSM-0304-03 and XSM-0304-06 are now used. The service life has been increased from 240h to more than 748h in a sped-up aging process.
