Sun protection system

An automatic sun protection system with vertical lamellas: They are made of wood, steel or aluminium and can be adjusted to the outside and pushed together. A solution was demanded that allows bridging a width of more than four meters without any limitations in height. Combining the rotation and parallel shift of the lamellas was the problem. A patented solution was found with products from igus®. drylin® trapezoidal inner thread and igubal® KGLM pillow block bearings have been installed. The lamellas are provided with pins, and its orientation is ensured by igubal KGLM bearings.
