Switch cabinet integration for Universal Robots
 
The UR unit enables simple and intuitive system for robot control and programming, making it easy to get started with automation. The direct switch cabinet integration with UR Cap enables an easy and ready to connect solution. This allows the 7th axis to be moved in the UR CAP software within a very short time. Currently, solutions are possible with the following Universal Robots kinematics: UR3, UR5, UR10, UR16 and the e-series. A master control system is not necessary.

If you want to use your own (robot) control system, that's no problem either.

Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, you need one motor control system per linear axis or system per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system which controls the coordination of the movement.
The motor control systems are not a component of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. Master control system is currently not offered by igus.
